These Epson cartridges have a Microchip fitted and they indicate "empty"
when they still are capable of giving lots more prints. We supply instructions on
how to override the chip to get the printer to use up all remaining powder in your
cartridge and save you buying new chips for each refill
REFILL TONER INSTRUCTIONS

(Please note that refilling is a
practical task requiring some tools & practical skills)
With these cartridges it is important to override the cartridge chip and use up
all remaining residual powder still in the cartridge before doing the refill -
We supply detailed instructions on how to do this along with the refill bottles
REFILLING
1) Remove two tamper proof torx screws and remove
the plastic end plate. A 2.4mm flat bladed screwdriver can be used off centre to
unscrew it - but the correct tool is a tamper-proof torx driver size
T10.
2)The filler plug is now exposed and is removed in
the usual way, taking care to preserve it for re-use.
3) The pour can now be undertaken then
re-assembly is reverse of above
With Chip technology on the cartridges this
can be more than just a small nuisance
for refillers and recyclers, however, with this Epson C2600 printer it is
perfectly possible to override the chip
