It is possible to "override" the chips on these
HP cartridges. The Microchip
counts the number of prints down to zero and then the printer
says the cartridge is "empty" but you can get the
printer to carry on without having to fit a new chip for each refill.
Ask
for the over-ride instructions. |

REFILL TONER INSTRUCTIONS
for HP colour HP LaserJet Pro 300 / Pro 400 Color M351a / MFP M375nw / M451dn / M451dw / M451nw / MFP M475dn / MFP M475dw Colour Laser Cartridges:
(Please note that refilling is a
practical task requiring some Tools & practical skills)
REFILLING
1) Make the
filler hole using the Hole Making Tool.
2) Empty out
all old toner
3) The pour
can now be undertaken then seal hole.
4) Fit the New Chip - only if required (use over-ride proceedure)

Required Tools
1. Hole Making Tool
Required Supplies
1. HP Pro 300 / Pro 400 Toner
Choose the correct colour for the cartridge
2. Clean the exterior of the cartridge. Be careful
not to damage the developer roller as it is exposed if protective orange cover
is not fitted.
3. Heat up the Hole Making Tool for
at least 3 minutes then burn the hole in the position shown above. Remove Tool -
the piece of plastic cut out should come away with the Tool. Unplug Tool and
once it has cooled remove the piece of plastic

|
Shake out all the remaining toner
into a poly bag to clean out the cartridge seal bag and
dispose of the waste.
Shake the toner bottle vigorously before uncapping - fit the Filler Spout and
then refill cartridge through the hole you made
Cut a strip of Gaffer / Duct Tape - cover the hole and make sure it is sealed
all round. |

Over-ride Instruction |
Go to - System Set up - Select - Print quality - then - Replace supplies - and
select - Override out - OK All on the machine LED panel. Where a printer is
networked the over-ride may be a nuisance and to make the printer function the
same as Original HP cartridges it will be necessary to fit Chips in some cases
Remove old chip and fit the new chip. Cartridge is now ready for testing back in
the printer |
